Cross Cultural Solutions is a non profit designed to encourage travelers to volunteer and work side by side with local people in order to experience another culture like never before.
I recently had the opportunity to participate and fully immerse myself in the beauty, spirit and generosity of the people of Cartago, Costa Rica for three weeks. Placed in a home daycare, I was welcomed with open arms and loving hearts. These portraits and candids are the children and they with their smiles, tears, laughter and joyful spontanaity are the soul of Costa Rica.
